You can use the dictionary by following these 3 simple steps:
- Choose your language;
- Find the term;
- Translate it into desired language.
1. Choose your language
The first step to use the dictionary is to choose your language. This can be doneby clicking on the language menu, located on the left side of the main screen(Figure 1).

There are listed all available languages.As shown on Figure 1, available languages are Bulgarian, English and German (Figure2).

Thechoice of a language can be done by clicking on its name. For example, if youclick on
, it willbe displayed Bulgarian dictionary. If you click on
, it will be displayed German dictionary.
The language of the dictionary can be changed at any time, byclicking on the relevant field. For example, if you are using Bulgarian language, you canswitch it to English at any time by clicking on
.
2. Search within the dictionary
After choosing the language in
intellectualentity, the following screen will bedisplayed(Figure 3):

The main fields, as shown onFigure 3, are Text, Kind and Areas.
2.1. Text
In this field you can enter the term(or a part of it) you are looking for.
2.1.1. Entering of the whole word
For example, if you search for theterm “Author”, you just have to write it in the Text field (Figure 4) and topress the button
.

On the screen will be displayed all matches of the term (Figure5).

2.1.2. Entering part of the term
If you enter part of the word,for example “Intern” instead of “International”, all words (and word groups),that contains the string “Intern” will be displayed (Figure 6).

Ifthe number of the matches is higher, they will be displayed on several pages.As shown on Figure 7, on the page are displayed the results from 1 to 25, andthe whole number of the matches is 40.

2.2. Searching by first letter
If you are not sure about theword, you can do search by its first letter. This can be done by choosing thefirst letter of the word (Figure 8).

2.3. Search within an area
Thereare several predefined areas of the intellectual property terms. This sectionallows searching in a specific area – for example, the search can be done onlyin the Industrial Design area. It aims for faster and easier finding of the terms.
Searching by a type can be doneeither by choosing the kind of the word from the “kind” menuand pressing the button
(Figure 10),

or by choosing the area form the right menu on the screen(Figure 11).

Itdoesn’t matter which of the ways for searching is used (Kind or Areas), thematches are the same (Figure 11).

3. Translation of the words
Oncethe necessary word or group of words is found, it can be translated into any ofthe languages. The list of the possible languages is displayed below the word(Figure 12).

Translationcan be done by clicking on the desired language. For example, if you want totranslate the word “record copy” into Bulgarian, (Figure 13), you have to clickon
